Our congregations are led by the Brule Church Board, and the Ogallala Central Church Board. These are made up of elected leaders of our churches. The current moderator of the Brule church is Cliff Welsh. The moderator of the Ogallala church is The Rev. Linda Martn.

We have a long history here in Southwestern Nebraska. First Congregational United Church of Christ in Ogallala will celebrate our 140th anniversary of ministry next year--2024. Founded in 1884, First Congregational UCC is the oldest church in Ogallala, and we are proud of our service to this community for the last 140 years.

The United Church of Christ, Congregational in Brule recently celebrated 125 years of service to the Brule community.
Both of our congregations were founded by Congregationalists who brought their faith in Jesus, as led by the Holy Spirit, to the Great Plains. That faith has seen us through times of plenty and times of drought, through joy and grief, always reminding us that we are communities called to love God above all else.

We live out this mission through weekly worship and the celebration of the sacraments. We serve our community by our support of the Community Garden, the Backpack Food Progam, delivering Meals on Wheels.
